Casino games maker Konami Gaming Inc has announced the debut of the brand’s real-money online slots in Italy, via a partnership with Betflag SpA.
“A leading operator in the regulated Italian online market, Betflag is the nation’s first to offer Konami slots for online wagering via smartphone, tablet, and desktop,” said a Wednesday press release.
Titles offered include Konami’s “All Aboard”, “China Shores”, and “Lotus Land”.
In October last year, Konami Gaming launched the “Konami Online Interactive” segment, establishing iGaming as the “third pillar” in the company’s businesses.
Eduardo Aching, vice president of iGaming and international gaming operations at Konami Gaming, said in prepared remarks that the launch of Konami Online Interactive in Italy via Betflag was “a milestone moment”.
“Betflag players in Italy are among Europe’s first to experience online entertainment that we aim to deliver to many more regulated iGaming markets worldwide,” Mr Aching stated.
Konami Gaming’s European base is in Koper, Slovenia, from where it is providing “direct service and support to casino operators across the region,” said the update.
The release cited Laviero Saganeiti, casino business developer at Betflag, as saying: “Service and entertainment stand at the forefront of Betflag’s popular success, which we are excited to expand to even greater heights with Italy’s debut premiere of Konami real-money online slots.” said
He added: “The depth, variety, and global prominence of the game content available with Konami Online Interactive will serve our online players for years to come.”
