Canadian gaming supplier DEQ Systems Corp has reached an agreement with Macau-based casino multi-game manufacturer LT Game Ltd for the distribution of DEQ’s products throughout the Asia Pacific region.
Under the deal, LT Game International (Australia) Ltd, a subsidiary of LT Game, will distribute DEQ’s G3 table bonus system and tabletop products through the end of 2016 as the initial term, the Canadian company announced.
“Establishing a key distributor relationship in the Asia Pacific market is yet another key step in DEQ’s global distribution strategy,” stated the company president and chief executive Joseph E. Bertolone.
“Clearly, having LT Game as our partner in the region gives us a competitive advantage and presence that will be a cornerstone for our continued growth. Leveraging our significant installed base in Macau and Singapore will facilitate the opening of new markets and solution sets for additional business in Macau and allow us to continue our growth in Australia, the Philippines, Cambodia, Korea and Vietnam,” Mr Bertolone added.
“Partnering with DEQ allows us to broaden the scope of solution offerings to our valued and long-term clients. As LT Game continues to expand throughout the Asia Pacific region, the synergies between our offerings enhances our ability to offer new and innovative solutions to our existing clients and enter new marketplaces,” stated Jay Chun, chairman of LT Game.
In August, LT Game inked a three-year distribution agreement with U.S.-based gaming supplier International Game Technology (IGT) for North America and Macau. Under the terms of the agreement, IGT will distribute LT Game’s live and electronic table game systems in the U.S. and Canada, while LT Game will serve as distributor for IGT’s slot machines in the Macau market, Hong Kong-listed Paradise Entertainment Ltd, the parent company of LT Game, said at the time.
DEQ is listed in Canada’s TSX Venture Exchange, a public venture capital marketplace for emerging companies. The firm provides table-game-bonusing technology, table games, baccarat results tracking and jackpot connectivity solutions to more than 300 casinos in 30 countries.
Last year, DEQ linked 52 G3 table bonus systems with its wide area progressive technology Real Link at casino resort Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. At the time, that was announced as the company’s largest G3 system installation.
