Singapore casino resort Marina Bay Sands – developed and managed by global casino operator Las Vegas Sands Corp – has announced Patricia Beaudoux (pictured) as director of international sales – Asia.
She will report to Mike Lee, vice president of sales at Marina Bay Sands (MBS), and focus on selling meetings, incentives events, conferences and exhibitions, known collectively as ‘MICE’.
According to a press statement, Ms Beaudoux will act as the sales representative in the United States for Las Vegas Sands’ properties in Singapore and for what the statement referred to as “Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao”. The latter is a brand created by the company to promote its three Cotai properties – Venetian Macao, Plaza Macao and Sands Cotai Central – as a unique tourist destination.
Her responsibilities include “establishing and managing key meetings and events accounts across North America tradeshows, international associations and multinational corporations,” added the announcement.
“We are delighted to have someone of Patricia’s calibre to join our team. She has a strong track record in MICE sales and her experience will be invaluable as we continue to drive growth in the North America market,” said Mr Lee.
Ms Beaudoux has 20 years of international experience in the hospitality industry, including in global sales and business development, with a focus on Asia and North America.
