Cambodian casino operator NagaCorp Ltd says it remains committed to “making a positive impact” in the community, via the group’s corporate social responsibility arm, “NagaWorld Kind Hearts”.
The firm operates the NagaWorld complex (pictured) in the Cambodian capital, Phnom Penh.
Since 2014, NagaWorld Kind Hearts “has organised over 1,131 activities,” with its employees contributing “more than 50,600 volunteer hours,” and “benefitting over 871,000 Cambodian citizens”.
According to the company’s first-half 2025 report, NagaWorld Kind Hearts focuses its efforts on four key pillars: education, community, sports, and environment.
“The company believes that investing in education is investing in the future of a nation,” stated the casino firm.
In the first half of 2025, “NagaWorld Kind Hearts conducted 21 activities in the education field, including the distribution of essential educational materials … and the donation of 27 computers …, benefitting over 4,300 school children,” it said.
The company also sait that its “Give the Gift of Reading” programme reached “more than 10,600 students, further enhancing literacy and language skills” across the community.
The group said it also supports community welfare “through diverse engagement initiatives”, organising 23 such activities in the six months to June 30.
The casino group reaffirmed its support to Cambodian athletes, renewing in the first half of this year a three-year sponsorship agreement with the National Olympic Committee of Cambodia.
The company’s NagaWorld Kind Hearts launched a “Clean and Green School” programme this year, described as a “seven-month waste management and recycling competition involving 67 secondary and high schools in Phnom Penh”.
“Organised in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, the programme supports the nation’s vision for a cleaner, greener future, while fostering a healthy and conducive learning environment for students,” observed the company.
NagaWorld has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Environment “to aid Cambodia’s efforts in expanding forest cover and achieving carbon neutrality by 2050”.
As part of this effort, “over 8,000 tree saplings” were planted across three provinces, and the company also organised clean-up activities and waste awareness campaigns.
Collectively, these initiatives under NagaWorld Kind Hearts’ environment pillar “reached more than 120,600 beneficiaries” in the six months to June 30.
In May 2025, to mark the company’s 30th anniversary, NagaWorld Kind Hearts hosted a month-long series of 28 activities, “benefiting 180,543 lives”.
“The celebration also featured weekly performances at Nations Arts Bayon Academy Theatre, attended by over 4,000 people, showcasing Cambodia’s local talents, culture, and heritage,” said the firm.
