The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) has announced the election of its 2026 board of directors. The board continues to be chaired by Nimish Purohit, IGSA said in a release issued on Wednesday.
Mr Purohit (pictured) is vice-president for technology global service management and operations at casino supplier Aristocrat Technologies Inc.
He was quoted as saying that “2025 was a highly successful year for IGSA.”
He noted the prior 12 months had seen addition of members and creation of committees, developments that had made him “incredibly excited for the organisation”.
Mr Purohit added that IGSA is “planning new committees to address issues in several areas”.
The update also said Charmaine Hogan, global head of government relations at gaming software provider Playtech Plc, has been appointed as IGSA’s vice-chair. She had joined the board last June.
Other reappointed board members included: Syed Hussain, chief information security officer at the Oregon Lottery in the U.S.; Spencer Peterson, vice-president of technical compliance at Konami Gaming Inc, also named treasurer; and Donovan Meyer, chief architect at casino supplier Light & Wonder Inc.
Rich Rader, chief technology officer at Umpqua Indian Development Corp in the U.S., joined the board of directors for the first time.
IGSA’s press release quoted the organisation’s president, Mark Pace, as saying: “IGSA membership is growing every year, which is a signal of strength for our industry. I am pleased to have a board of directors that represents the diversity of our supplier and operator members. Through them, IGSA continues its strategy of collaborating and finding solutions with the industry.”
The association says it is “the largest technical standards development organisation” dedicated to the creation and evolution of standards and protocols to the advancement of the global gaming industry.
IGSA notes that its membership is drawn from 20 countries, with additional input from regulators, operators, and suppliers from more than 30 countries.
