NUSTAR Resort and Casino, a tourism complex in Cebu in the Philippines, has launched its official sports betting platform, called “NUSTAR Sports Max”, the property promoter said in a Tuesday social media update.
NUSTAR Sports Max is powered by Jade Sportsbet, a sportsbook offering retail and remote gaming in the Philippines, and which has been developed by Jade Entertainment and Gaming Technologies Inc.
According to the platform’s website, NUSTAR Sports Max “boasts a user-friendly interface for a seamless betting experience,” providing “exclusive rewards and bonuses, and a wide selection of sports events”.
The launch of Sports Max (pictured) was marked by a ceremony attended by property executives, partners, and patrons.
NUSTAR Resort and Casino, on Kawit Island, Cebu, is the flagship project of Universal Hotels and Resorts Inc. The latter entity is privately-owned, with business focused on gaming and integrated resort development across the Philippines. It is linked to the Philippine conglomerate Gokongwei Group.
In May last year, the complex opened the Fili Hotel – one of its three accommodation areas – as well as the casino and three restaurants. Other hospitality and leisure features are being added to the property, including dining areas, a theatre, two cinemas, a convention space, retail space and a leisure park.
The NUSTAR property’s website lists the casino space as spanning 21,000 square metres (226,042 sq. feet), with a capacity of 250 gaming tables and 1,500 slot machines.
