Sci Games names Susan Cartwright VP corporate comms

Casino equipment maker and lottery services provider Scientific Games Corp has appointed Susan Cartwright (pictured) as vice president of corporate communications with immediate effect.

She reports directly to Gavin Isaacs, the firm’s president and chief executive, and is based at the corporate global headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada.

She most recently served as vice president of corporate communications for casino technology firm IGT, where she was responsible for its internal and external corporate communication strategy and execution.

During her three-year tenure there, she focused on global communications strategy and tactics, corporate branding, “executive thought leadership”, government and investor relations communications, sales enablement, web initiatives, and merger communications.

Before joining IGT, Ms Cartwright held a number of senior management positions in marketing, advertising, communications and operations with leading communications agencies.

“She is a proven performer who will provide us with valuable leadership and counsel,” said Mr Isaacs in a statement accompanying Tuesday’s announcement of her appointment.
