Manila Bay Resorts is one of the four casino resorts projected for Manila’s Entertainment City
Tiger Resort, Leisure and Entertainment Inc, controlled by Japanese pachinko mogul Kazuo Okada, is developing the US$2.3-billion project
Opening of the first phase is scheduled for the third quarter of next year and Tiger Resort says the property will provide around 15,000 direct and indirect jobs
Disputes over the project could however potentially impact its development
Manila Bay Resorts will boast a man-made beach resort set under a 100-metre (328 feet) diameter indoor glass dome
The casino will cover over 30,000 square metres (323,000 square feet) and work around the clock to serve an estimated daily clientele of 20,000 guests
The casino will include over 500 gaming tables and 3,000 machines
The property will feature three hotels, around 20 food and beverage outlets, retail, entertainment, spa facilities and residential properties
The project is being built in a 44-hectare (440,000 square metres) site
Manila Bay Resorts should be fully completed by 2017
