SOFTSWISS, a software provider for online casinos and bookmakers, says its Jackpot Aggregator is expanding its offering with a new type of progressive jackpot, called “Prime Jackpot”.
Several of SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator’s clients had “successfully” launched the new product, said the iGaming provider in a press release.
According to the announcement, Prime Jackpot is connected to “a vast network of multiple online casino brands,” providing a “shared jackpot experience”.
Online casino brands that want to participate in a “network jackpot campaign” have tocontribute the amount proportionate to their overall betting volume, according to the release. Once a jackpot is won, the reward is paid out of the shared pool, “which continues to grow progressively, driven by player bets”.
The first jackpot campaign began with a EUR100,000 (US$105,923) prize pool, representing the minimum jackpot payout. Several existing Curaçao-licensed clients of the Jackpot Aggregator “have already taken advantage of this new feature,” stated SOFTSWISS. It added that the new feature would “soon be extended to clients” of its Game Aggregator platform.
The update quoted Aliaksei Douhin, head of SOFTSWISS Jackpot Aggregator, as saying that the Prime Jackpot feature provides clients “with the tools they need to gain competitive advantages”.
“This new type of jackpot allows brands to launch jackpot campaigns with substantial prize pools, something that was previously beyond their reach,” he added. “Another important thing is that with the shared prize pool structure, all rewards are paid from this pool, not by a specific brand.”
