Solaire Resort & Casino, run by Bloomberry Resorts Corp in the Philippine capital Manila, has launched gaming facilities branded respectively as the “Mandarin Room” and the “K-Room”, aimed at “premium mass” table-game patrons.
The property in Entertainment City confirmed the activation of the facilities, after an enquiry from GGRAsia.
The Mandarin Room (pictured above) – also known as “Yao Xuan” – was launched on April 24. The K-Room (pictured below), also referred to as “Cheon Un”, opened on April 25.

Each of those two rooms features a mix of slot machines and table games. The gaming mix has been decided based on feedback from the property’s “existing Korean and Mandarin-speaking guests”, the property promoter explained.
“The rooms primarily cater to premium mass players within our top three loyalty tiers – Emerald, Ruby and Diamond – though we also have the capability to accommodate VIP and rolling players,” Solaire Resort told GGRAsia.
Korean- and Mandarin-speaking player development managers are stationed at the two rooms, the property promoter noted.
It also remarked: “The key differentiation of these spaces lies in the customisation of the overall experience, including the aesthetic design, atmosphere, food and beverage offerings, and gaming variety.”
Bloomberry Resorts runs Solaire Resort & Casino at Entertainment City in Manila, and Solaire Resort North at Quezon City on the outskirts of the capital.
Enrique Razon, chairman of Bloomberry Resorts, commented to media last month on the “challenging” outlook for on-property VIP gambling in Metro Manila.
The Bloomberry boss said that his company’s focus would be on lowering costs, while improving its “offerings, promotions and marketing”.
