Gaming industry equipment supplier SuzoHapp Group has appointed Allen Ko (pictured) as vice president OEM – cash handling for the Asia-Pacific region, the firm said in a press release.
Mr Ko was described in the release as having several years of experience in the cash processing equipment market, working previously for companies that provide a variety of such products and services, including De La Rue International Ltd, Talaris Inc and Glory Global Solutions Inc. Across these companies he served in a variety of positions: pre- and after-sales support, channel development, and product marketing. After that, Mr Ko moved to a direct sales role, which he has occupied for the past 13 years, according to the release from Suzo Happ.
“I am excited to have the chance to lead a high-performing team in Asia Pacific. The opportunities abound and our innovative products provide for so many solutions here,” Mr Ko said in a statement.
“We will open new markets and grow the OEM and cash solution business across the region, especially the China market. We have a lot of work to do and foresee a very positive future,” he added.
SuzoHapp was traditionally an amusement and gaming technology company developing and distributing machine components for equipment operators and original equipment manufacturers (OEM).
It became active in the field of cash handling following the acquisition in 2014 of Italy-based currency technology firm Comesterogroup SRL, and the acquisition of Sweden-based cash handling technology company Scan Coin AB.
SuzoHapp is seeking to expand its business in Asia Pacific and has created a new team dedicated to the region, the firm said. The company additionally announced that Jessica Zhang and Raymond Lei joined the firm as head of OEM sales and as OEM pre-sales manager, respectively.
“Jessica brings with her a 10-year track record of success in sales and Raymond brings seven years of experience in pre-sales and technical support for the OEM cash handling business,” said SuzoHapp in the release.
Geoffrey McDowell, SuzoHapp’s managing director for Asia Pacific, said in a statement included in the release: “Allen, Jessica and Raymond make up an excellent team and we are very excited about the opportunities in the OEM market in the Asia-Pacific region.”
