Gaming supplier Konami Gaming Inc announced on Tuesday a series of “key leadership promotions” across the company, as it seeks to strengthen and expand its business operations.
Michael Coppert has been appointed vice president of customer service, the firm said in Tuesday’s press release. He was until recently the company’s senior director of customer service.
Mr Coppert is responsible for overseeing the activities of Konami Gaming’s games and systems customer service department, including: system implementations; game installations; customer training; field service operations; and ongoing customer support.
Konami Gaming also announced that Alan Cripe and Casey Whalen have been promoted to be senior directors of regional sales. Mr Cripe will focus on the central region of the North America market, while Mr Whalen will develop and execute strategic sales planning across the western region. Both executives will report to Konami Gaming’s vice president of North American sales, Ross O’Hanley.
Scott Richards has been appointed senior director of system sales. He will be responsible for: business development; account retention and acquisition; and sales targets for the firm’s Synkros casino management system.
Other promoted executives included: Jeff George, senior director of software engineering; Lori Olk, senior director of regulatory compliance; Eddie Sepich, senior director of embedded and interface systems; Norio Tone, senior director of hardware platform product; and Steve Walther, senior director of product management.
Commenting on the new appointments, Konami Gaming’s chief operating officer and executive vice president, Steve Sutherland, said in a statement: “These new appointments are an example of the strong tenure and excellent calibre of professionals working each day to ensure the long term success of our customers, our business, and our industry.”
“We share a common objective of driving the next generation of great games and technology to market. By investing in our talent, we are reinforcing our core values of quality, service, accountability, and performance,” he added.
