CastNET will be demonstrating at Global Gaming Expo its latest digital signage solutions for casino properties. The products of the firm, a division of U.S.-based Alpha Video and Audio Inc, will be available at booth #2908.
One of the highlights of the showcase will be the CastNET MobileView, a licensed iPad app that shows a playlist of scheduled digital signage content from a CastNET server.
The app can play the same content that is published to larger wall-mounted screens or play customised content created just for the iPad or iPad mini. CastNET MobileView uses a built-in, slide-out menu bar to allow viewers to jump to different messages in the playlist.
CastNET SocialView shows a casino’s live Twitter feed and Facebook posts in a branded template on screens throughout a casino property. As an added benefit, CastNET SocialView also automatically tweets jackpot and winner messages to the casino’s Twitter account without the need for casino staff to update the accounts manually.
CastNET CasinoView uses touch screen kiosks with interactive maps of the casino property that zoom and scroll to show where to find games, venues and events. Maps show animated walking paths from a guest’s current location to their selected destination.
Commenting on the product offering this year, Lance Hutchinson, vice president for CastNET, said: “We can now integrate digital signs throughout a casino from gaming floors and restaurants to lounges, lobbies, cashier cages, video walls, employee break rooms, convention meeting rooms and more. The products for mobile devices we are demonstrating at G2E this year greatly increase the flexibility and effectiveness of digital signage for our casino clients.”
