A total of 28 luxury Macau hotel brands – all within casino resorts – indicate they have sold out their rooms for at least three nights of the upcoming Labour Day holiday season in early May, which for mainland residents spans five days. The room-demand snapshot is based on GGRAsia’s checks of the respective official booking engines of those hotels.

The research covered 36 luxury accommodation brands across resorts promoted by the six Macau gaming operators. Most of the hotels are in the city’s Cotai district.

As of Wednesday, a total of 10 out of the 36 hotel brands were sold out for all five nights. GGRAsia focused on the two-person, standard room category; though some of the hotels surveyed are all-suite properties.

China’s State Council designates the Labour Day holiday on the mainland as running from May 1 (a Friday); to May 5 (a Tuesday); inclusive.

For the 2026 Labour Day period, Macau hotel brands indicating no rooms for any of the festive nights this time, included: Grand Lisboa, the flagship casino resort run by SJM Holdings Ltd on the Macau peninsula; Skylofts at MGM Cotai, operated by MGM China Holdings Ltd; and Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, both run by Wynn Macau Ltd.

Other hotel brands that also flagged no rooms available for the festive period were: The Ritz-Carlton, Macau, JW Marriott Hotel Macau and Capella at Galaxy Macau, all located at Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd’s flagship Cotai property, Galaxy Macau. Also indicating they were full, were: Paiza Lofts at The Parisian; Four Seasons Hotel Macao; and The Grand Suites at Four Seasons, all promoted by Sands China Ltd.

A total of 28 of the 36 surveyed hotels was sold out for at least three nights. They included: Grand Lisboa Palace Macau; Palazzo Versace Macau; and and The Karl Lagerfeld, all located at SJM Holdings’ Cotai resort complex, Grand Lisboa Palace.

Also full for three nights or more were: the hotel at MGM Macau, on Macau peninsula; and MGM Cotai accommodation branded respectively as M Tower and Emerald Tower.

Additionally flagging no space for at least three nights were: Nüwa, Morpheus and Grand Hyatt Macau, all located at Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd’s Cotai complex City of Dreams. In the same situation were: Galaxy Hotel; Banyan Tree Macau; Hotel Okura Macau; Raffles at Galaxy Macau; and Andaz Macau, all located at the Cotai complex Galaxy Macau.

Sold out for at least three out of the five nights of the holiday season were: The Londoner Hotel; Paiza Grand at Londoner; Londoner Court; and Conrad Macao, all at Sands China’s The Londoner Macao resort on Cotai.

The rates of the still-available Cotai hotel rooms indicated a pricing peak on May 2 (Saturday). Most guest rooms or suites able to accommodate two adults on that date were marked above MOP6,000 (US$744) , with some priced higher than MOP10,000, excluding government tax and service charges.
