The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) on Tuesday announced five new members, bringing the trade group, comprised of international gaming suppliers, to a total of 150 members.

Joining the trade association are: New Jersey, U.S.-based Advanced Gaming Associates; payments technology company CardConnect; Las Vegas-based G2 Game Design; Taiwan-based Ganlot, a provider of integrated casino, lottery and amusement solutions; and Zebra Technologies, a provider of barcode printing and RTLS technology.

In Tuesday’s statement, the trade group also announced that Marcus Prater (pictured) has signed a new three-year contract extension that will keep him as AGEM’s executive director into 2018.

Mr Prater has led the day-to-day operations of AGEM since 2008 and his current term was set to expire at the end of this month.

AGEM, headed by Konami Gaming Inc’s Thomas Jingoli, is a non-profit international trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers of electronic gaming devices, systems, table games, online technology, key components and support products and services for the gaming industry.
