Philippine-listed DigiPlus Interactive Corp, an investor in gaming services including bingo and a digital sportsbook platform, says it has launched an “advanced responsible gaming tab” within its platform.
“This groundbreaking feature provides players with a powerful set of tools to take control of their gaming habits,” stated the Philippine-listed company in a January press release.
It added: “With options to set daily gaming durations, customise specific gaming schedules, and establish daily loss limits, DigiPlus ensures that players can enjoy gaming responsibly, within boundaries they define for themselves.”
DigiPlus is a Philippine holding company with investment in gaming and leisure businesses, including bingo and a digital sportsbook platform.
In 2022 the firm launched an online bingo service, BingoPlus; and in February 2023, DigiPlus introduced ArenaPlus, a new brand for its sports betting operations.
DigiPlus said the self-exclusion measures would enable players “to prioritise their well-being while enjoying the fun and excitement of gaming”.
“By integrating these tools directly into the app, DigiPlus guarantees easy accessibility and seamless user experience, demonstrating a proactive commitment to protecting players from potential harm,” it added.
The announcement quoted DigiPlus Interactive chairman Eusebio Tanco as saying: “We believe gaming should always remain a safe and enjoyable activity.
“By giving our players the tools to manage their gaming habits responsibly, we’re setting a new benchmark for responsible gaming, one that aligns with global standards and emphasises our care for every individual who engages with our platforms.”
