Inspire Entertainment Resort, a complex with foreigner-only casino at Incheon in South Korea, has appointed two people in senior marketing positions.
The property’s promoter announced Hanna Lee as senior vice president of strategy marketing, focusing on the complex’s non-gaming marketing operations.
“Her priorities will include enhancing customer-centric digital marketing capabilities and boosting brand competitiveness,” stated a press release.
Ms Lee is described as having “more than 24 years of experience in strategy and marketing,” including leadership roles at a number of major global companies.
The announcement said that in conjunction with her appointment, Inspire has restructured key marketing-related teams, including its customer experience, brand, and global communications teams. That was in order “to improve operational efficiency and strengthen integration across all marketing functions,” it added.
Chen Si, president of Inspire, said in prepared remarks that Ms Lee’s appointment marked a “pivotal moment” as the complex celebrated its first anniversary.
He added: “Her strategic insight and deep expertise will enable us to deliver more differentiated guest experiences and drive Inspire’s growth as a premier global integrated resort.”
Separately, experienced executive Shirley Tam said – via a post on social media platform LinkedIn – that she had started a new position as chief casino marketing officer at Inspire.
Ms Tam began her career at the Caesar’s Windsor casino property in Ontario, Canada, and moved to Macau in 2006 to work at The Venetian Macao. She also served in senior marketing positions at Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd, Wynn Macau Ltd, Genting Hong Kong Ltd and the Okada Manila casino resort in the Philippine capital.
In February it was announced that United States-based private investment firm Bain Capital had taken over the operations of the Inspire complex.
The property – located at Incheon, near the country’s main international airport – was developed, and until then been operated, by U.S.-based Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority.
