The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) says two new members have joined its board of directors. They are Donovan Meyer, chief architect at gaming supplier Light & Wonder Inc; and Charmaine Hogan, head of regulatory affairs at gaming software provider Playtech Plc.
“These two new members will be joining a very well rounded and seasoned group, and I am pleased that the board has appointed these individuals, both of which are from director-level member companies,” said IGSA president, Mark Pace, in remarks included in a Monday press release.
He added: “I would be remiss if I did not mention that Charmaine Hogan is replacing Martin Pedak, who not only was Playtech’s representative within IGSA for a long time but also served as vice-chair of the board of directors. His contributions to IGSA were numerous and we wish him well in his new endeavours.”
The announcement cited Nimish Purohit, IGSA chairman of the board, as saying: “I join Mark and my fellow board members in welcoming our two newest individuals to the board, as IGSA continues its growth and outreach to the industry.”
IGSA states its role is to create and develop technology standards and protocols for the advancement of the global gaming industry.
The association says its membership is drawn from 20 countries, with additional input from regulators, operators, and suppliers from more than 30 countries.
