Thomas Jingoli, a veteran executive in the Konami Group’s casino gaming and systems division in the United States, has also been appointed managing director of its sister firm covering Asia.

Mr Jingoli was named managing director of Konami Australia Pty Ltd, effective from Thursday, according to a notice by the parent company, Konami Group Corp. He replaces Steve Sutherland in that role; Mr Sutherland remains as chief executive of the U.S.-based Konami Gaming Inc, and has been appointed as a corporate officer at the parent company.

In addition, Mr Jingoli has become director president of Konami Gaming Inc – a position previously also held by Mr Sutherland – while retaining his position as chief operating officer at the company. This appointment was also effective from Thursday.

In the casino gaming segment, Konami Group operates outside Japan via Konami Australia Pty Ltd and U.S.-based Konami Gaming Inc.

The notice from Konami Group did not provide more details regarding the appointments.

Konami Group reported revenue of approximately JPY42.67 billion (US$295.6 million at current rates) in its gaming and systems division – including casino equipment – for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025. This result marked a 7.4 percent increase year-on-year, according to a May announcement.

The gaming segment recorded a profit of nearly JPY7.36 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 18.4 percent.
