Gaming testing laboratory and technical consulting company BMM Testlabs has promoted Sacha McLaughlin (pictured) to vice president of global quality assurance.
In her new role, Ms McLaughlin will continue BMM’s quality assurance “mission to deliver trust, speed, and value,” stated the firm in a Monday press release.
Ms McLaughlin joined BMM in 2018 and “has held roles of increasing responsibility within the company,” most recently serving as senior director of quality assurance, according to the announcement.
The update cited BMM’s president of land-based gaming and inspections, Kirk White, as saying that Ms McLaughlin had “consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, operational excellence, and a customer-first attitude”.
He added: “Her experience and passion will be critical as we continue to grow our quality assurance services to meet the always-evolving needs of the global gaming industry.”
Ms McLaughlin is described as having “over 18 years of experience” in software implementation, with seven years involved in the gaming industry.
The update said she has “been instrumental in expanding BMM’s quality assurance capabilities and helping customers launch products into the global gaming market more quickly, with a focus on regulatory compliance, functionality, fairness, and security”.
Privately-held BMM Innovation Group said in mid-April that its BMM Testlabs unit is to be acquired by The Visualize Group, a U.S.-based private equity firm. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, stated BMM at the time.
