Casino hotel L’Arc Macau was one of three Macau hotel properties that organised for August 18 a visit by employees – who also help as general community volunteers – to the Associação Geral das Mulheres de Macau, a community organisation in the city.
L’Arc Macau currently runs a satellite casino under the SJM Holdings Ltd gaming licence. The other worker-volunteers that took part in the visit to the association were from Lisboeta Macau, a hotel complex in the Cotai district, and the Regency Art Hotel in Taipa.
The activity aimed to “foster community engagement and advocate for the well-being of women and children in Macau,” said a press release.
Association representatives explained to the visitors its history and long-standing mission of supporting women and family development, caring for the elderly, and nurturing young people, as well as its work in education and training, psychological counselling, and overall community support.
