Macau casino concessionaire Galaxy Entertainment Group Ltd says it concluded during November its “Towards Dual Carbon · Building a Healthy Enterprise” 2025 Series, which it says are activities promoting a “healthy corporate culture”.
The initiative supports China’s “Dual Carbon” strategy, as well as the Macau government’s policies on environmental protection and workplace health and safety, stated the company. The effort was backed by Macau’s Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA), and the city’s Health Bureau.
Launched in June, this year’s series included a “green recipe design competition for team members”; “promotional booths advocating for energy conservation”; “health promotion activities”; and “support for multiple hotel “Green Tours” organised by DSPA.

The casino group said it “welcomed around 280 local students” to a number of its hotels that have been recognised with the “Macao Green Hotel Award”.
The series of activities concluded within November, via a “finale theme day and the ‘Eat Green, Eat Healthy Creative Recipes Challenge’ award ceremony,” stated the casino firm.
Galaxy Entertainment said it “remains committed to promoting sustainable development within the community”.
The company added that it encourages its staff to “proactively care for and manage their well-being, through offering healthy meal options, providing self-health monitoring devices, promoting workplace stretching exercises, and regularly sharing health related information”.
“These efforts have engaged over 40,000 team members’ participations,” it stated.
