Grand Korea Leisure Co Ltd (GKL), an operator in South Korea of foreigner-only casinos, reported on Tuesday casino sales of nearly KRW41.75 billion (US$28.4 million) for November, up 12.9 percent year-on-year. Judged sequentially, last month’s tally rose 46.2 percent.

GKL’s table-game sales in November were approximately KRW38.38 billion, up 13.7 percent from a year earlier, and a 52.6-percent increase sequentially.

Machine-game sales last month were up 3.9 percent year-on-year, to just above KRW3.37 billion. The tally was down 1.1 percent from October.

GKL operates three foreigner-only Seven Luck-branded casinos. Two are in the capital Seoul, and one is in the southeastern port city of Busan.

The company is a subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organization, which is affiliated with South Korea’s Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

For the January to November period, overall casino sales at GKL were almost KRW389.02 billion, up 9.6 percent from the prior-year period.

The top contributor to GKL’s group-wide casino sales in the first 11 months of 2025 was Seoul Gangnam Casino, which achieved sales of KRW192.01 billion in the period, nearly 20 percent up from a year ago.

GKL is mulling a venue refreshment, and aims to expand into cultural tourism and digital services, the company’s chief executive, Yoon Doo-hyun, said in a recent interview with GGRAsia.

The casino firm saw its third-quarter net profit up 142.7 percent year-on-year to nearly KRW14.67 billion, as growth in group-wide sales outpaced the increase in the cost of sales.
