Zitro International becomes a member of the American Gaming Association

Gaming supplier Zitro International says it has joined the American Gaming Association (AGA) as a member. The firm stated: “This strategic milestone reflects the company’s long-term commitment to the U.S. market, where Zitro has been steadily building partnerships with casino operators and expanding its presence across commercial and tribal gaming properties.”

The AGA represents the U.S. gaming industry, including commercial and tribal gaming markets, “bringing together companies that promote responsible gaming and work with regulators to support the industry’s growth,” noted the gaming supplier.

The AGA newcomer added in a Wednesday press release: “For Zitro, this membership means more than just being part of the conversation. It’s an opportunity to actively contribute to shaping the future of an industry in which the company is deeply invested,” the firm added.

“This is the right moment for us to take a more active role in the industry conversations around gaming in the U.S.,” said Derik Mooberry, chief executive of Zitro USA, as cited in the announcement.

Mr Mooberry stated: “The gaming landscape is evolving fast, and the AGA provides an essential platform where suppliers and operators can tackle challenges collaboratively, from advancing responsible gaming to navigating complex regulatory frameworks.”

“We’re eager to contribute our international perspective to these important discussions,” he added.

As an AGA member, Zitro said it would “participate in industry advocacy efforts, exchange best practices with fellow gaming companies, and contribute to policy discussions that impact the future of the gaming sector”.

The move “comes at a natural time,” said the firm, as “Zitro’s products have been gaining momentum in U.S. markets”.

Maureen Beddis, senior vice president of membership and events at the AGA, said in prepared remarks that the organisation was “delighted to welcome Zitro”.

“Their innovation, expertise, and commitment to our flagship event, G2E [Global Gaming Expo], are valuable additions to our membership, and we look forward to partnering with them to continue to drive the industry forward,” Ms Beddis added.
