Wynn unveils residential community for staff of Al Marjan casino resort in UAE

Global casino operator Wynn Resorts Ltd has disclosed details for “Wynn Oasis”, which it says is purpose-built to accommodate the majority of the staff for the group’s nearby Wynn Al Marjan Island casino resort.

The under-construction Wynn Al Marjan Island complex is located on a 60-hectare (148.3-acre) plot on an artificial island in Ras Al Khaimah, part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The site is 50 minutes by road from Dubai International Airport.

“Today, we reveal for the first time, Oasis, A Wynn Community, a purpose-built residential community designed to welcome more than 7,000 colleagues, located just 15 minutes from the resort,” stated the casino firm in a Monday update on social media network LinkedIn.

The company said this would be the “first of many hugely significant infrastructure developments” that will support the casino resort when it opens in the “spring of 2027”.

Spanning 26 acres (10.5 hectares), the staff residential complex is said to offer “the same standards of comfort, design and care that define Wynn Resorts globally”.

Set to open in the “summer of 2026”, it offers what the company describes as “15 vertical residential communities”, hotel-grade services, and a dedicated guest building, dubbed “The Beach House”, which will provide lodging for visiting family members.

A key feature is Wynn University, an on-site campus for professional training and career development. The facility includes culinary kitchens, digital learning spaces, and specialised training laboratories.

At the centre of the community is The Pearl, a hub offering fitness, entertainment, wellness, retail areas and social spaces, according to the announcement.

Wynn Resorts, parent of Macau casino concessionaire Wynn Macau Ltd, said in early December that as of that date it had spent or “fully bought out” US$3.4 billion of the total budget for the Wynn Al Marjan project. That represents circa 66.7 percent of the US$5.1 billion price tag for the property.
