Bloomberry’s online site ‘megaFUNalo!’ launches Philippines-made arcade games

Bloomberry Resorts Corp’s online platform “megaFUNalo” has added what local media reports say are “arcade games” with Philippines themes, from Gioco Arcade, described as a game studio within the country.

Bloomberry is also the operator of land-based casino properties Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila’s Entertainment City, and Solaire Resort North in nearby Quezon City.

The megaFUNalo online gaming platform had a soft launch in June last year.

According to media, the first arcade games launched for megaFUNalo are “Cash Cash Fiesta” and “Jeepney Go” (pictured); with “Tuktuk Gold” and “Slice n Go” to follow.

The InsiderPH outlet reported all the games were “operating within Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp (Pagcor) rules,” a reference to the nation’s gaming regulator.

ABS-CBN News cited Cyrus Sherafat, described as megaFUNalo executive vice president and head of gaming, as saying: “We’ve been able to continuously increase our user base. I definitely think the partnership with Gioco [Arcade] is going to help expand that as we’re getting more of our content… Filipino-made.”

Other outlets cited Mr Sherafat also saying: “With Gioco Arcade, we’re… offering players experiences that feel exciting and familiar, all within a licensed and trusted platform.”

Mr Sherafat is also as executive vice president and head of gaming for Solaire Resort & Casino in Entertainment City.

Greg Hawkins, president and chief operating officer of Bloomberry Resorts, said during Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia @ the Philippines 2025, in a fireside talk with GGRAsia, that “online is a very significant growing sector in the jurisdiction”.

Regarding Monday’s news of fresh and locally-made online games for megaFUNalo, ABS-CBN quoted Maricar Nepomuceno, Gioco Arcade chief executive, saying there was “a good future for Filipino game development”.

Ms Nepomuceno added that megaFUNalo adoption of local games would “excite our developers to stay here in the country and promote game development”.

In other developments for the nation’s online sector, in December, Pagcor’s Electronic Gaming Licensing Department said all Philippines-accredited “gaming system administrators” (GSAs) – whether ones with electronic casino games or ones without electronic casino games – would from April 1, 2026, each be required to pay a “minimum guaranteed fee” per month.
