Global regulatory compliance consultant Spectrum Gaming Group has announced the promotion of Paul Bromberg (pictured left), a senior vice president (SVP), to the role of managing director (MD) of Spectrum’s Asian operations.
Bangkok, Thailand-based Mr Bromberg had served as an SVP for over two decades, and has been leading work on investigations throughout Asia.
The group has also appointed Manila, Philippines-based Sandra Bograd (pictured right) as senior advisor.
The company said her arrival “further strengthens” the group’s “unmatched depth in gaming-related compliance, corporate governance, regulatory policy, operational advisory services and economic research throughout Asia and the Pacific”.
According to the update, Ms Bograd has worked as an attorney and senior executive specialising in conduct risk, financial crime, anti-money laundering, sanctions control, global anti-corruption regimes, and corporate ethics programmes. She has served as a global chief compliance officer, legal counsel, and advisor to regulators and multinational corporations.
The statement noted Ms Bograd had “significant experience across Asian gaming markets, including in Hong Kong, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore and beyond where her work in compliance, regulatory policy, and financial‑crime frameworks positions her as a powerful asset to Spectrum’s longstanding presence in the region”.
The update noted Spectrum Gaming has had a permanent presence in Asia and the Pacific since 1993.
Fredric Gushin, chief executive of Spectrum Gaming, was cited as saying: “These appointments reflect our continued commitment to providing world class expertise to our clients.”
Mr Bromberg stated the group was “proud” to welcome Ms Bograd to its ranks. He added: “Sandra embodies the legal professionalism, academic and corporate perspective as well as regulatory understanding that our clients rely on.”
