Aristocrat Gaming says it has expanded its “Mo’ Mummy” slot franchise with the launch of the new “Fo’ Mo’ Mummy” game family, featuring the debut titles “Mr Mummy” and “Ms Mummy”.
The new games have been developed exclusively for the supplier’s The Baron Upright cabinet, and have been deployed in casinos across North America, according to a Monday press release.
Aristocrat Gaming is the land-based gaming business unit of Australia-listed Aristocrat Leisure Ltd.
The company said both Mr Mummy and Ms Mummy include the “Cash Collect” feature while introducing a new “quadruple metamorphic” mechanic that allows players to trigger up to four separate feature sets either individually or simultaneously.
Kurt Gissane, chief revenue officer for Aristocrat Gaming, said in prepared remarks: “Aristocrat Gaming designers never stop creating new and fun adventures for our players, and Fo’ Mo’ Mummy is the latest example.”
He added: “This exciting new addition expands a highly successful franchise with fresh gameplay, new adventures, and the signature entertainment value that players have come to expect.”
The company said each title offers five bonus features designed to increase gameplay variety.
Among them, “Mo’ Boost” is said to enhance randomly gems and coins, while “Mo’ Spins” can award additional free spins when qualifying symbols land during bonus rounds. “Mo’ Prizes” randomly adds gems and coins, and “Mo’ Symbols” introduces double gems and coins in a single position.
The Ms Mummy title includes an additional mechanic allowing treasure chest symbols to appear during bonus features, Aristocrat Gaming said. Those symbols can award up to five extra Cash on Reel coins and/or Diamonds, the firm added.
The Fo’ Mo’ Mummy launch follows Aristocrat Gaming’s investment in its premium linked-progressive portfolio and the global rollout of its Baron cabinet platform.
The supplier has previously identified Asia as a key growth market for its Baron cabinet. In May, Mr Gissane said the group planned to expand installations of the cabinet in the region and described the Mo’ Mummy franchise as “a global success”.
