U.S.-based consultancy firm Global Market Advisors LLC announced on Tuesday that Shaun McCamley (pictured) has joined the company as head of its Asia regional office.
Mr McCamley will be based at Global Market Advisors’ office in Bangkok, Thailand. The firm opened the Asia regional office in 2014 to support clients located in the region.
Global Market Advisors said in Tuesday’s release it “continues to invest and expand in the Asian gaming and hospitality segment, providing clients with services such as financial feasibility reports, marketing strategies, internet/social gaming and government relations”.
“[Mr McCamley’s] decades of experience operating and consulting in Asia, combined with his in-depth knowledge of setting up and operating online gaming sites will be invaluable to our clients,” stated Steve Gallaway, managing partner at Global Market Advisors. “With [Mr McCamley’s] running the Bangkok office, and our other offices in Taipei, Las Vegas and Denver, Global Market Advisors can service our clients reliably 24 hours per day,” Mr Gallaway added.
Mr McCamley, an Australian national, was until September last year president of the Grand Ho Tram casino resort, in Vietnam. Before relocating to Vietnam in 2014, he served as managing partner of EuroPacificAsia Management and Consulting Ltd, a specialist gaming consulting firm based in Macau founded by him.
Global Market Advisors says it “has a significant history in advising clients in South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Singapore, Macau, Japan, Taiwan, Philippines, Cambodia and Eastern Russia”. The firm also serves clients in North America’s casino gaming and hospitality industries.
