Interblock DD, a specialist in the supply of casino electronic table games, is introducing its Diamond product line to Sands China Ltd properties in Macau.

The new installation – to take place in the second quarter of this year – features a combination of 21 Diamond Roulette units with eight stations each, and 10 Diamond Sic Bo units with eight stations each. That means a total of 248 seats for gaming players, Inteblock stated in a Wednesday release.

The products will be installed in Sands China’s casinos at the Venetian Macao and Sands Macao, according to the release.

“[We] see this deal as a significant catalyst for Interblock’s re-entry into the Macau market,” Interblock’s global chief executive John Connelly said in a statement.

He added: “We will continue to invest heavily into this region, while adding the necessary resources and infrastructure to further support the increased level of growth we are experiencing throughout the Asia Pacific region.”

Interblock’s Diamond product line of electronic table games offers a modular system, allowing casino operators to scale the size of the installation according to their needs. It is available in dealer assisted, automated and video formats.

“This line is highly adaptive to meet a wide range of design, pay system and space requirement needs,” Interblock said in its release.

The Diamond Roulette was one of the items from the Diamond product line showcased by Interblock at last year’s edition of the Macao Gaming Show.

Interblock, established in 1989 in Slovenia, specialises in supplying fully- and semi-automated electronic table games and video gaming machines for casinos, gaming arcades and gambling halls.

In Asia, the company has a strong presence in Vietnam and the Philippines, and has been pushing to increase its footprint in other regional jurisdictions.
