Leap Forward Gaming, Inc, a supplier to the gaming industry of so-called picture-in-picture technology for casino slot machines, on Tuesday announced the appointment of David Durst as vice president of sales and marketing.
Mr Durst has more than 20 years of experience in casino system sales, marketing and executive leadership with casino industry suppliers International Game Technology, Aristocrat Leisure Ltd and Bally Technologies Inc.
“We are excited to have him on board as we execute on our next phase of growth,” said Ali Saffari, Leap Forward’s president and chief executive.
In early 2013 Nevada-based Leap Forward announced a joint development agreement with Sands China Ltd – the operator of the Venetian Macao, Sands Cotai Central, The Plaza Macao and Sands Macao.
Mr Saffari, the firm’s founder, is a former senior vice president of engineering at International Game Technology.
