Six businesses have joined the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM), bringing the association to a record number of 172 members spread across 22 countries. AGEM announced in writing on Tuesday that among the new members was NRT Technology Corp, of Canada, a developer and maker of payment systems and that supplies products – including payment kiosks – to the Asia-Pacific casino sector.
In October 2017 it was revealed that NRT planned to merge with Las Vegas, Nevada-based Sightline Payments LLC, a technology business specialising in cashless payment and payment for services including mobile gaming.
The other new members AGEM members announced this week were: Acuris Risk Intelligence of Britain, which helps organisations manage risk in business relationships; CS-1 Transportation of Canada, a gaming equipment logistics company; Eclipse Gaming of the United States, a developer of slot machine games; U.S.-based law firm Fennemore Craig PC; and Global Gambling Guidance Group (G4) of the Netherlands, which accredits and certifies responsible gambling standards internationally.
AGEM is a trade group representing manufacturers and suppliers of electronic gaming devices, systems, table games, online technology, key components, and supporting products and services for the gaming industry.
