Assessment, testing and certification services company Gaming Laboratories International has acquired United States-based information security services company SeNet International Corp.

In a press release from both companies on Tuesday, the New Jersey, U.S.-based GLI group, which includes flagship company Gaming Laboratories International LLC, said the acquisition would help expand the cybersecurity and information technology capabilities for customers of SeNet, the GLI group companies and the GLI information security subsidiary, Bulletproof Solutions ULC of Canada.

The customers of each of the businesses are located around the world, with many in the gaming industry. GLI has a presence in Asia through its Macau-registered subsidiary, GLI Asia Ltd, which celebrated its 10-year anniversary last year.

Tuesday’s release does not mention a price or further details about the deal. The joint statement says GLI group will operate SeNet in conjunction with Bulletproof. SeNet will operate as the U.S. information-security platform for Bulletproof, which will benefit SeNet customers by offering a wider range of services from Bulletproof.

SeNet chief executive Ilan Katz, SeNet chief technology officer Gus Fritschie and SeNet president Toly Kozushin, a senior consultant, will keep their jobs.

The statement quotes GLI group chief executive James Maida as saying: “We are very pleased to continue our relationship with the entire SeNet team and look forward to them assisting us in providing world-class security services both inside and outside the gaming industries in the United States and elsewhere around the world.”
