The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) says Macau law firm MdME Lawyers has joined its ranks.

AGEM issued on Monday a written announcement saying its board of directors has granted membership to MdME Lawyers and three other entities, so increasing the number of association members to 171.

The AGEM announcement said MdME Lawyers – which has acted as an advisor to businesses in the gaming sector –  had a reputation for giving its clients “high-quality and innovative” advice on legal matters.

The announcement says another new member of AGEM is Clarion Gaming, part of United Kingdom-based Clarion Events Ltd.

“Clarion Gaming, based in London, provides its global audience exceptional outcomes and customer experiences at live events supported by print, digital and training brands,” the AGEM announcement stated.

Clarion Gaming arranges gaming industry conferences, including the Japan Gaming Congress that has been held annually for several years in Tokyo, and which covers the nascent Japan casino industry.

AGEM said the two other newly-inducted corporate members were Competition Interactive, a gaming design studio based in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States, and Enterprise Holdings, also based in the U.S. casino hub.

AGEM is a non-profit trade association representing manufacturers and suppliers from around the world working respectively in the fields of electronic gaming devices, lotteries, systems, game content, table games, online technology, sports betting, key components and support products and services for the gaming industry.
