GPI to debut several new products at G2E Asia

Gaming Partners International Corp, a leading provider of casino currency and table game products, will introduce several new products at G2E Asia 2014.

One of the highlights will be the Asian debut of 3-in-1 UV, a security taggant that remains invisible under standard UV wavelengths. It offers three levels of authentication, including a forensic verification using scanning electron microscopy.

GPI will also showcase its new SecuriFilm product. It is a decal security film with a semi-transparent hologram-like effect that enables quick dealer authentication. A new overt security feature, SecuriFilm can be easily authenticated at the table and includes an additional covert feature enabling a higher level of back-of-house validation.

The company will also display expanded J3 design options and security features, including the ability to add LaserTrack security pigment to each chip’s edge spot inserts, making them easier to validate in stacks and racks. Additionally, LaserTrack can be added to the gold lace, a new option that is also available on plaques and jetons.

GPI Asia’s vice president of sales Scott McCarthy said: “Asia is such a dynamic market, and with a number of new large casinos slated to open over the next few years, it’s not showing any signs of slowing down. Over the past year, our development team has been hard at work developing these new currency products that directly address the unique challenges our Asia customers face.”

Included in the RFID products GPI will highlight during the show will be its dual chip tray and plaque box that provide real-time information about all chip movement and inventory activities. Also featured will be RFID Total Money Management, that streamlines table game cash and chip transactions to enable an increase in rounds per hour while providing increased currency security through instant authentication and validation.
