Gaming testing laboratory and technical consultancy BMM Testlabs says it has secured “full access” to provide regulatory testing services for devices and systems of ‘Class III’ gaming products in the United States.
“In 2025, BMM effectively achieved full access to the U.S. Class III certification market for the first time, a milestone nearly 25 years and US$20 million in the making,” stated the company in a recent press release.
“This landmark achievement helped to propel double-digit growth in BMM’s land-based testing and certification business, far surpassing overall market growth,” the firm added.
The announcement cited Kirk White, BMM Testlabs’ president of land-based gaming and inspections, as saying: “Completing full U.S. Class III access was a huge achievement for BMM. It opens the door for a new era of growth and leadership in land-based gaming.”
Founded in 1981, BMM says it employs more than 700 people across 16 locations globally, having “more than 700 licences” to serve its customers in the gaming sector.
BMM Testlabs is to be acquired by The Visualize Group, a U.S.-based private equity firm, according to an April announcement. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, and the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals, stated BMM at the time.
