China LotSynergy supplying 4k lottery terminals to Guangdong

China LotSynergy Holdings Ltd, a provider of technology and services for the mainland China’s lottery market, says its subsidiary Guangzhou Lottnal Terminal Co Ltd was chosen as a supplier of sports lottery terminals to Guangdong Sports Lottery Centre.

“This project adopted a batch bidding process, with a total procurement of 10,000 terminals, of which Lottnal won the largest batch of 4,000 terminals,” China LotSynergy stated in a filing on Monday.

The company said it holds “an approximately 30-percent market share of this year’s total sports lottery terminal procurement volume” in the mainland, adding that it also “ranks first in terms of the total number of sports lottery terminals supplied” this year.

Mainland China’s lottery sales grew to approximately RMB187.68 billion (US$30.7 billion) in the first half of 2015, up 5.2 percent year-on-year.

From January to June 2015, Guangdong recorded lottery sales of RMB17.3 billion, accounting for 9.2 percent of total nationwide lottery sales. Sports lottery sales in Guangdong reached RMB7.2 billion in the first six months of the year, up by 8 percent year-on-year.
