Trevor Ross, formerly a Macau-based senior sales director – Asia at casino technology group Light & Wonder Inc, has been appointed head of venue services at MAX in Australia, part of that country’s betting and media conglomerate Tabcorp Holdings Ltd.

MAX is the gaming services division of Tabcorp, and provides pubs, clubs, and other venues, with systems, maintenance, and technical services for electronic gaming machines.

Mr Ross (pictured) said in a LinkedIn posting that the move marked “an exciting new chapter”.

He added: “I’ll be leading our national venue services teams, working closely with our partners to strengthen venue performance, elevate service delivery and ensure we continue to support the industry with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.”

Mr Ross added he was “incredibly excited to be back in Australia, reconnecting with the industry and contributing to a sector I’m passionate about”.

The executive left Light & Wonder in May, after spending just over seven years with that group and its corporate predecessor the legacy-entity Scientific Games Corp, according to his LinkedIn page.

Before that, he served for nearly two decades with Australian slot maker Aristocrat Leisure Ltd. It included almost five years – up to January 2011 – working out of Macau as operations manager, systems and slots – Asia Pacific.
