FBM Foundation says it has delivered “essential resources” to children and families in need in partnership with the National Children’s Hospital and Malasakit Center.
The social responsibility project of the FBM Group hosted a donation on March 10, “delivering toys, school supplies, grocery essentials and critical medical equipment to improve the hospital’s services and bring comfort and joy to over 100 families,” it stated in a press release.
FBM Foundation supports humanitarian actions to help Filipino communities affected by natural disasters. It is coordinated by the FBM brand, a maker of casino slot machines and an international specialist in electronic bingo machines.
In its announcement, FBM Foundation said its latest drive “aimed to make a meaningful impact on the operations of the National Children’s Hospital and the well-being of its patients”.
With the participation of 12 volunteers, the initiative had the direct involvement of Pepe Costa, FBM Foundation’s representative in the Philippines, along with celebrities Papa Jackson, Giselle Sanchez, and Daniel Matsunaga.
The FBM Foundation also said it provided “critical medical equipment and supplies” to the medical facility. The initiative also “delivered grocery essentials to 100 families facing medical challenges, offering much-needed support during difficult times”.
The organisation said it expects its initiative to help “improve the patients’ healthcare and enhance the hospital’s medical services”.
