Quick Facts on G2E Asia

 

  • Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Asia debuted at Macau Tower in 2007;
  • The annual event, organised by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions, has been taking place at Venetian Macao since 2008;
  • The American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions also organise G2E in Las Vegas, the older sister event of G2E Asia;
  • G2E Asia features an international gaming trade show and a conference. The event is mainly focused on the Asian gaming market;
  • There was a 43 percent year-on-year increase in international visitors in the 2014 edition of G2E Asia and a 47 percent increase in conference attendees, according Reed Exhibitions;
  • G2E Asia 2014 covered a record breaking 8,640 square metres (93,000 sq feet), up 16 percent from 2013;
  • Last year’s event also attracted more than 8,000 daily attendees – a 36-percent increase compared to the 2013 edition, Reed Exhibitions reported. So far this year the exhibitions specialist is expecting an approximately 15 percent improvement on the 2014 attendance;
  • Visitors for the 2014 edition included more than 95 percent of Asia’s major casino and integrated resort operators, and 160 exhibiting companies from China and abroad, said Reed Exhibitions.
