Electronic gaming equipment maker Interblock DD has promoted Timothy Spatharos to be vice president of operations. Previously he was senior director of global operations.
In his new role, Mr Spatharos will be responsible for assuring quality of the group’s products and advise the company’s leadership on ways to enhance product operating performance and margins. He will be based at the firm’s North American headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, in the United States.
“As Interblock continues to experience record-breaking growth, having someone of Tim’s calibre leading our operational and manufacturing initiatives is a huge step forward for our organisation,” said John Connelly, chief executive of Interblock, in a prepared statement accompanying the announcement.
Prior to working for Interblock, Mr Spatharos served as senior director of international operations for casino equipment supplier Bally Technologies Inc, where he was responsible for monthly operational forecasts for multiple international business units of that group and for achieving operational objectives.
