The International Gaming Standards Association (IGSA) says it has welcomed Eclipse Compliance Testing, an Ohio, United States-based, regulatory compliance testing service, as a fresh member.

The newcomer’s “extensive knowledge in gaming product compliance testing for over 25 years will be invaluable,” to the trade association, said Mark Pace, president of IGSA, in prepared remarks included in a Tuesday announcement.

Nick Farley, founder of Eclipse Compliance Testing, which also has testing facilities in Las Vegas, Nevada, was cited saying the firm was “pleased to add its voice and expertise in regulatory compliance testing”.

He added: “We have been on the forefront of the battle to help define what is legal and what is not, and hope to contribute to the ongoing regulatory work that IGSA has undertaken.”

Eclipse Compliance Testing, founded in 2000, is said to serve “over 250” regulated markets across the world, with regulatory testing services for devices and systems of ‘Class III’, and ‘Class II’ gaming products, as well as skill games, electronic pull-tabs, iGaming, mobile gaming, sports wagering, daily fantasy sports, and charitable gaming markets.

IGSA states its role is to create and develop technology standards and protocols for the advancement of the global gaming industry.

The association states that its membership is drawn from 20 countries, with additional input from regulators, operators, and suppliers from more than 30 countries.
