Lotte Tour posts net profit in 2025, revenue grows 39pct from the prior year

Lotte Tour Development Co Ltd, promoter of Jeju Dream Tower (pictured in a file photo), a facility with foreigner-only casino on South Korea’s holiday island of Jeju, reported net income of nearly KRW37.08 billion (US$25.7 million) for full-year 2025. That compares with a net loss of KRW116.57 billion in 2024.

That is according to Lotte Tour’s filing lodged with the Korea Exchange on Thursday. The filing contained Lotte Tour’s unaudited financial highlights covering the 2025 fiscal year.

The earnings announcement was made under a Korea Exchange provision that requires listed companies to disclose changes of 30 percent or more in sales, profits or losses.

Lotte Tour saw its 2025 operating income increase 267.4 percent year-on-year, to KRW143.33 billion. Sales – covering casino, hotel and travel businesses – for full-year 2025 reached KRW653.45 billion, a 38.6-percent increase from 2024.

The firm said the growth in sales and operating profit in 2025 was “due to increased customer traffic” at the Jeju Dream Tower complex.

In January, Lotte Tour had said the group’s casino sales for full-year 2025 stood at KRW476.62 billion, up 61.8 percent from the prior year.

Lotte Tour also said it was able to report a profit in 2025 “due to increased deferred tax assets following the implementation of consolidated taxation” last year.

The company said the financial information reported on Thursday was based on unaudited results, and “subject to change” upon an external audit and approval at the general shareholders’ meeting.
