Macau casino firm Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd says it has been holding a “Occupational Safety and Health Month 2025”, in a bid to “further reinforce” the group’s “stringent occupational safety and health (OSH) standards among colleagues”.
This year’s campaign was themed “Healthy Work Culture, Together We Create”, and featured a promotional event co-organised by Melco Resorts and the city’s Labour Affairs Bureau (DSAL).
“Now in its sixth year, this activity aims to raise awareness among colleagues about OSH and overall personal well-being, and has attracted over 22,000 participants to date,” stated the company.
The announcement cited Evan Winkler, Melco Resorts’ president, as saying that the company was “honoured” to continue its long-term collaboration with DSAL, “in providing and equipping our colleagues the support and knowledge to maintain a stringent standard of OSH culture”.
“While regulations set the baseline, Melco strives to go further by ensuring every detail is measured, monitored and fine-tuned to meet industry-leading OSH standards,” Mr Winkler said.
He added: “Through specialist training, real-time monitoring and rigorous audits, we target to safeguard every space we manage not just for compliance, but for confidence.”
