Casino operator Melco Resorts & Entertainment Ltd says it is committed to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Macau, in a bid to promote the city’s “economic diversification”.
The casino firm, in partnership with the Macao Young Entrepreneur Incubation Centre (MYEIC), organised on April 17 a dedicated exhibition for 15 SMEs that offer marketing products and services, according to a press release.
Melco Resorts stated the event enabled those SMEs “to showcase their product designs and marketing promotion concepts through the setting up of display booths”.
It also allowed Melco Resorts’ “supply-chain and marketing departments to better understand the exhibitors’ service content and identify potential suppliers”.
The casino concessionaire said it aimed to “gain an in-depth understanding of the latest trends and developments in the field of marketing products and services”, having had opportunity to “discuss the practical application of such products and services with attending enterprises”.
“The company believes that the event will help to further establish sustained and positive relationships for collaboration between the parties,” added the announcement.
