Mohegan Inspire Entertainment Resort, the South Korea casino complex of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, held on August 7 an ‘Inspire Experience Day’ event. In collaboration with the Good Neighbors Incheon Business Headquarters, it invited 20 children from low-income families to visit the property, according to a written announcement.
As part of the ‘Sharing Hopes and Dreams Project’, which helps children explore career paths, 20 elementary school students recommended by the principals of schools in the Incheon area attended the event at Mohegan Inspire.
The event began with a chance to experience the property’s diverse digital art offerings. It was followed by the opportunity to watch the ‘Cosmic Odyssey’ presentation at the complex’s digital entertainment street ‘Aurora’,
The students also attended a table manners educational session, and then a meal prepared by Mohegan Inspire staff.
A brief question-and-answer session with Mohegan Inspire employees allowed students to learn about various jobs at the property’s hotel.
The release quoted Michael Jensen, at the time the chief marketing officer at Mohegan Inspire, as saying: “Through this event, Inspire and Good Neighbors have come together to provide children in Incheon with the opportunity to experience a new job culture and have a positive experience that can lead to” them fulfilling “their dreams.”
He added: “We will do our best to create multiple opportunities to help to realise children’s dreams and future together with Good Neighbors.”
Mohegan Inspire signed in March this year a memorandum of understanding with Good Neighbors Incheon Business Headquarters, seeking to participate in scholarship-support projects and other initiatives in the Incheon area that support child rights.
