Online gaming content supplier Pragmatic Play Ltd says it has “enhanced” its sportsbook offering with a “major update” to its cricket product, adding new markets and functionality, according to a Tuesday press release.
The upgraded cricket product “introduces 10,000 live matches a year with over 200 in-play and pre-match betting markets across more than 150 competitions,” stated the provider.
“It also delivers improved scoreboard functionality, official data integration, and access to video streaming,” it added.
The gaming technology firm said the new product features were “designed to support greater user engagement through detailed market coverage and real-time insights powered by official data sources”.
The update cited Gareth Crook, senior vice president of sports at Pragmatic Play, as saying that cricket was “one of the most watched sports on television and a staple of many global operators’ in-play offering”.
He stated: “Our upgraded product ensures operators can capture that demand with the depth and reliability they need.”
Mr Crook said the launch of the upgraded cricket product reflected Pragmatic Play’s “commitment to continuously enhancing the sportsbook and solving operator requirements for content-rich, engaging coverage”.
He added: “With cricket at the heart of many betting portfolios, Pragmatic Play Sports is proud to deliver a product that raises the bar for player experience worldwide.”
