The Resorts World Genting casino complex (pictured) in Malaysia, run by Genting Malaysia Bhd, is hosting a month-long celebration promoting “togetherness, kindness and the spirit of giving”. It is part of an initiative marking the end of the Muslim fasting period of Ramadan, according to a recent press release.
As part of the celebration, Resorts World Genting is hosting a special corporate social responsibility programme at the complex’s Kimhua Atrium event space, “bringing underprivileged children to the resort to share in the festive joy”.
“The children will be treated to a cheerful afternoon filled with fun activities including a Care Bears Meet and Greet, a coaster painting and meals,” according to a press release.
The property’s promoter said the gathering aimed to mark “the season’s values of kindness, generosity and togetherness, creating meaningful moments and happy memories for the young visitors as they experience the Raya festivities”.
The Raya celebration, part of the “Jom Raya Kaw Kaw 2026” event, will also feature daily entertainment across the property, in the month to April 12.
