Macau casino operator Sands China Ltd – which is set to host 2025 preseason games from two National Basketball Association (NBA) teams in October – is making use of the brand power of the north American professional basketball league for its marketing campaigns, namely regarding its hotel and retail offerings.
Sands China made available recently the “2025 NBA China Games Experience Package”, according to GGRAsia’s checks. The 2025 NBA China Games Experience Package includes five different tiers for stays at The Londoner Macao casino resort (pictured) in Cotai, with prices ranging from HKD19,999 (US$2,548) to HKD239,999.
The top two stay packages provide access to the backstage areas of the NBA China Games, as well as the exclusive opportunities of dining with the “NBA Legends”, according to Sands China’s promotional materials.
The Brooklyn Nets and the Phoenix Suns will play on October 10 and October 12 this year at the Venetian Arena. A “NBA Fan Day” will be held at the venue on October 11.
Sands China and the NBA signed last year a multi-year agreement to stage preseason games in Macau. Under the deal, the NBA will host two preseason games per year at the Venetian Arena.
Oso Ighodaro and Ryan Dunn, both players for the Phoenix Suns, appeared on Tuesday at a new sports apparel shop at The Venetian Macao, “NBA Atelier”, where they interacted with fans.
Sands China said previously that ahead of this year’s preseason games, an official “NBA Flagship Store” will be launched at The Londoner Macao.
