Sega Sammy Creation Inc, a unit of Japan’s Sega Sammy Holdings Inc, has agreed to acquire Stakelogic BV, a business-to-business (B2B) iGaming content supplier headquartered in the Netherlands.
The final consideration price “will be determined based on the enterprise value of EUR130 million [US$141.3 million], which will be adjusted based on Stakelogic’s net debt, working capital and other factors,” stated the parent company in a Friday press release.
“The acquisition is expected to close by the first quarter of the fiscal year ending March, 2026,” it added.
Sega Sammy Creation announced in November the acquisition of GAN Ltd for an aggregate amount of US$107.6 million. GAN is a firm offering business-to-business software services in the United States, and business-to-consumer services in Europe and South America.
Both acquisitions are expected to help Sega Sammy Creation expand its iGaming business in the U.S. market.
“Stakelogic’s strength lies in the development of iGaming content, a market we are targeting, and we believe this acquisition will further enhance the competitiveness of GAN’s B2B platform and contribute to the expansion of our gaming business,” said the Sega Sammy group in Friday’s announcement.
According to the update, Stakelogic holds “game certifications” across 17 territories. In addition to slot games, the firm also develops and offers live table games and “hybrid games”, including roulette, blackjack and baccarat.
Sega Sammy said a “distinct feature” of Stakelogic’s live table games offer was “Chromakey Studio”, which allows the iGaming provider to “prepare dedicated tables for each client”.
Such feature “enables the simultaneous delivery to multiple clients and – at the same time – significantly reducing the setup costs and studio operations,” added the announcement.
The Japanese company said the combination of Stakelogic’s technologies and gaming content with the “customer network” of Sega Sammy Creation, “which has been providing quality gaming content and equipment to North American land casino operators, is expected to create synergies and contribute significantly to the expansion of our gaming business”.
